•Strategize, coordinate, and execute social media marketing and paid promotion
•Coordinate communication and promotion of daily network priorities
•Plan, coordinate, communicate, and execute all network on-site events, and sweepstakes and contests
•Host and support NBC Sports Northwest on-site promotional event
•Lead Authentic Fan network identity program: including internal communications, planning events and promotions, maintaining promotional calendar, coordinating, integration needs across functions, ordering giveaways
•Spearhead new partnerships, such as an “Authentic Fan” bar program
•Maintain and order premium items
•Support internal priorities as needed
•Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related program
  • Minimum experience of two (2) years in television marketing (internships included)
  • Exceptional creative writing skills
  • Strong project management skills, including multi-tasking, organization, and attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and leadership qualities
  • Thorough knowledge of and interest in sports, primarily on local level
  • Self-motivated and resourceful
  • Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or video editing a plus
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Social Media
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
