DK is currently seeking a Jr. Analyst to help drive growth on Amazon by conducting analysis and pulling insights from a variety of data sources and translating those insights into actionable business recommendations.  This unique and data-driven role will work in conjunction with sales, publishing, metadata, and data & analytics teams to drive and support scalable optimization for DK’s titles through data analysis and reporting.
The Jr. Analyst reports to the Data Insights Analyst and is responsible for the following:
Other responsibilities include:
* Analyzing search, sales, and market data to identify opportunities for DK to increase discoverability and conversion of its books on Amazon
* Partner with the Amazon Account Manager to manage Amazon Advertising campaigns from soup to nuts, including budget, product and bid strategy, day-to-day management, optimization, and reporting on results
* Building dashboards, tools, algorithms, reports to show current performance on Amazon, derive insights and mine opportunities for both new and existing titles
* Use data to monitor how our books perform and work closely with metadata and publishing teams to drive metadata optimization and maximize sales
* Create and deliver clear, compelling presentations to internal teams communicating research findings, insights, and actionable recommendations
* Support dynamic pricing initiatives and monitoring of DK’s ebook performance
* Collaborate with Analytics, Insight & Metadata team on big-picture organizational data initiatives

* 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, analytics, digital advertising, or SEO
* Experience with MS Excel required, including formulas, vlookups and pivot tables
* Familiarity with SQL, PowerBI, Tableau or other data visualization tools preferred
* Python, R, D3 or experience with other coding languages a plus
* A passion for and curiosity about data analysis and data mining to drive business decisions
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Self-starter who can work independently and also enjoys collaborating with a team
