MassLive seeks a full-time news reporter in Springfield, Mass., with strong writing skills and a passion for breaking news.

The ideal candidate actively proposes story ideas; develops community sources, enjoys engaging with readers, and has a strong social media presence. The Reporter should also be comfortable producing digital packages, including both photography and video.

The right candidate understands the importance of breaking news quickly and accurately, is versatile, and can add depth and a human perspective to news stories of statewide importance.
