National Sales Coordinator

The ideal candidate has experience in a sales support role within the media industry and is familiar with both the media sales process, as well as executing tasks necessary for the fulfillment of national advertising programs. The NSA will primarily be responsible for effectively navigating various systems to manage our national advertising portfolio – including communicating with national representatives and internal support teams to ensure media runs on-time and as ordered. This individual will also perform other essential daily duties and administrative work (e.g. spot times check, billing review and analysis). This position reports to the Director of Sales and works directly with Director of Sales and National Sales Manager for relentless execution of national advertising campaigns. Qualifications:The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented and performs well under pressure, with a high degree of urgency and confidence. This individual should possess strong written and verbal communication skills that allow him/her to effectively communicate with national agency representatives with confidence to obtain critical responses and information needed to complete business in a timely manner. This person must adopt processes and best practices for all systems required to do the job, including vCreative and WideOrbit. He/she must also effectively manage multiple responsibilities with precision and above all, a focus on team work.
This position requires working knowledge of the media industry. Candidates must also be proficient in Microsoft Suite of products such as Excel, Word, Publisher, 365, Outlook and PowerPoint. Media sales experience is highly-preferred but not required.
