The Sales Planner will report to the Local Sales Manager and will be responsible for managing the day-to-day partner relationships and sales processes to support the overall sales team revenue goals. As a member of a highly motivated sales team, the Sales Planner will support both local and digital sales efforts from an administrative perspective where account relationship building and customer satisfaction are the keys to being successful in this role. Responsibilities:Support Vice President of Sales, Local Sales Manager and Cross Platform DirectorWork closely with a team of Local Account Executive’s on all aspects of their businessLead campaign maintenance of designated AE’s accounts to ensure they are running properly. Including billing, notarizing, credits, copy requests, spot managements, pre/post logs, proof of performance, allocationsUnderstand the general nature of the business from the agency to client side including their goals and objectivesCreate proposals, contracts and recaps for client campaignsEnsure all campaign details are conveyed to the Sponsorship Manager to full executionMonitor campaigns to ensure delivery on both linear and digitalCommunicate campaign deliverables to clients and fully execute their campaigns including collection of linear and digital assetsLiaising with Ad Ops to ensure cross platform campaigns go live as expected Manage client relationships and deliver superior customer service
Provide support for other assistants in the department as needed Basic Qualifications:
- Four year degree (B.A.,B.S) from an accredited college or university
- Office related experience
- Demonstrates project management skills
- Digital Media Industry experience preferred
- Well-organized and attention to detail
- Strong data entry and computer skills, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ad Serving software and tracking knowledge is a plus
- Strong analytical and creative skills
- A strong ability to perform independently and proactively while working in a team environment
- High energy and teamwork mentality
