The successful Digital Partnership Project Manager candidate will be responsible for providing oversite and guidance of the development and execution of digital platforms and content for The Ryder Cup and PGA Championship; world-class events including those that can enhance the on-site fan experience. Additionally, he / she will play a key role
in developing and managing timelines, ownership and deliverable completion from a variety of teams and partners, both external and internal. The Digital Partnership Project Manager’s role will encompass equal parts execution, organization, and cross-functional management ensuring the completion of all commitments and goals. Job Duties Support the Director of Digital Partnerships & Operations and executive stakeholders in the project management, milestones, communication and status reports of the digital products and platform creation.
Collaborate with internal executive stakeholders, The European Tour and the PGA of America, Golf Channel / NBC Sports product & technology teams and external vendors.
Working with management for the culmination of outlining goals, budget, timing, deliverables, project scope, and required resources.
Managing project development and execution from commencement to closure, including overseeing the execution of all daily operations.
Preparing and providing a project timeline to all participants to identify ownership and schedule of tasks while using collaborative project management software(s) such as Trello, Asana and Confluence.
Faciliating weekly partnership meetings and status reports, clearly communicating the expectations of deliverables, timelines and priorities.
Resolving issues and solving problems throughout the project cycle.
Ensuring successful archive of project documents after the project completion.
Any additional assigned duties. Basic QualificationsA bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, certificate in Project Management is a plus.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Project Managagement or related work
Proficiency in project management techniques and software tools
Demonstrated success managing projects, priorities and personalities; guiding cross-functional teams of internal and external resources.
Knowledge of mobile devices and sites, technologies, and product lifecycle.
