Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Creative Partnerships, the TODAY Marketing Coordinator will play a role in the creative development and execution of marketing solutions that create meaningful, cross-platform experiences for clients. The Marketing Coordinator will support TODAY Managers/Directors, working with advertising clients to drive revenue.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support Managers/Directors in the creation and development of portfolio of sales materials for TODAY linear and digital, including sales presentations (one sheets and customized), sponsorship calendars, show clips, email blasts, etc.
  • Responsible for working on RFP and proactive marketing requests and liaising with all appropriate internal groups including Sales, Producers, Ad Ops, and Pricing and Planning to facilitate efficient and transparent communication.
  • Manage the post-sell process (recap presentations, clips, and digital links) to showcase program results and work with the sales team to refine and enhance concepts, driving renewal and incremental opportunities.
  • Assist in client management and hospitality including studio tours and greenroom management
  • Administrative responsibilities as needed including: network sales/marketing tracking systems (PAT), sales materials management, team tracking materials


  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing or related field
    • 1+ years of work experience
    • Experience working with MS Office Suite (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook)

    • Understanding of presentation development—format, design
    • Preferred internship or experience with an agency, client or media company sales organization background
    • Understanding or awareness of advertising within all platforms of the News media space
    • Thorough knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Photoshop etc. and presentation proficiencies
