Job Description:





The Intelligence Group is responsible for delivering best-in-class intelligence and insights. We do this by conducting thought-provoking custom research and mining a variety of third-party resources. Team members act as experts to our advertising sales partners, marketing colleagues and advertising agencies/clients. We work to support brands across the portfolio including The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, MarketWatch and Mansion Global.









The Role: You will work with the Senior Director as well as the Integrated Marketing, Product & Sales teams to uncover insights in the technology, media, telecommunications and B2B sectors for higher value proposals.









Primary Responsibilities







  • Deliver insights based on primary and syndicated research, desktop/3rd-party data and proprietary customer information. Current tools/resources include Qualtrics, Factiva, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, New Age, Ipsos, Erdos & Morgan, Statista, Quantcast, Storyful, Gartner, Research and Analysis of Media (RAM) and more.




  • With Senior Director, monitor proposals for ‘white space’ opportunities to deliver unique and meaningful client proposals.




  • Design, program, field and report out on custom studies driven both by specific needs for clients as well as proactive initiatives for identified category needs.




  • Manage TMT/B2B Research Analyst


















Position can be based in either NYC or SF offices

















Desired Attributes/Qualifications







  • Exposure to syndicated research and a variety of desktop/3rd-party research tools




  • Ability to design and execute upon different quantitative and qualitative research methodologies




  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills




  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment




  • Experience self-managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines




  • Proficiency with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint




  • Strong interest in technology, media and business sector
