Core team member for consumer-focused marketing communications for NBC News brands (TODAY, Nightly News, Meet the Press, Dateline and NBC News digital platforms). This role supports the team responsible for strategic brand marketing activities including daily advertising and promotion, consumer events, and digital and cross-platform marketing. They will report into the Manager(s), Brand Marketing and will have the opportunity to work closely with the larger NBC News Marketing team.

Marketing Communication Development & Project Management
- Support two Managers, Brand Marketing on the development and execution of daily consumer-focused marketing communications
- Oversee asset development for key initiatives such as the TODAY Summer Concert Series
- Maintain an organized, up-to-date asset library and coordinate and distribute brand creative assets for internal and external partners
- Manage requests from cross-company departments (local affiliate, cable affiliate, ad sales marketing, and digital) to create and distribute creative assets to be used in various channels for brand promotion
- Work with Creative & Media teams on digital marketing asset creation and delivery
- Work with Event team on development of creative for branded event activations
- Attend News Marketing events and serve as a brand ambassador and event support staff
- Learn and manage the CRM database system, used to communicate with registered audiences
- Maintain an overall knowledge and understanding of marketing priorities and deliverables, including the status of active projects
- Assist with organizing department activities, meetings, and presentations
- Oversee Page and intern on specific projects

- Minimum 2 examples of previous work experience within relevant field preferred including internships (media organization, advertising/media agency, etc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Must be willing to work in NYC
- Must be willing to attend events, including early mornings and some weekends

- Organized and solution-oriented, with a high level of attention to detail and follow-through
- Eager to work in the fast-paced, ever-changing News Marketing world
- Ability to prioritize and juggle numerous projects and deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and with a team
- An excellent communicator with a strong ability to conduct effective in-person and email communications
