The role of the Strategic Alliances Communications Supervisor is to lead the creation and development of all internal and external communications materials (both written and visual) produced on behalf of the DreamWorks Animation’s technology partnerships and for select studio use. Responsibilities
Responsible for campaign creation, copywriting, development and review of the following material types:Alliance communications materials, including but not limited to press releases, articles, case studies and blog posts, public-facing quotes and blurbs, feature film and partner technology backgrounders, executive event abstracts and introduction copy, executive panel Q&A, partner video script messaging, surveys and questionnairesStudio communications materials, including but not limited to executive keynote and presentation messaging, public-facing technology articles, emerging tech backgrounders and executive briefs for internal use and executive biosAbsorb, retain and effectively communicate the Studio’s use and co-invention of products, services and joint engineering solutions developed on behalf of the alliancesResponsible for obtaining approvals for public use of media from studio departmentsStrategize with key technology team members and cross functional teams on strategic alliance messaging, and collaborate on editing, review and approval of related enterprise marketing collateral to ensure communication balance among alliance partnersProvide senior Strategic Alliances staff with research and documentation support Build and maintain strong and knowledgeable relationships and collaborate effectively with all internal and partner stakeholders to foster and ensure alliance and campaign successLead select technology showcases for on-site partnership engagements when necessaryLead select studio tours that communicate the history, culture, franchise properties and innovations of DreamWorks Animation and its affiliates when necessary Has experience in creating clear, effective external technology communications plans; technology marketing campaigns, and joint marketing campaigns with multiple technology companies
Identifies, implements, develops and manages successful technology marketing and communications strategies and integrated co-marketing/branding campaigns with current DreamWorks Animation corporate and technology partners
Possesses public speaking experience, particularly as it pertains to general technology and enterprise messaging
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field
Mastery of software applications including: PowerPoint, Photoshop, FileMaker Pro, Microsoft Office suite, Google Apps
3+ years of high-level technical marketing and alliance partnership advocacy program management experience in a Fortune 500, technology and/or entertainment company
Experience in creating clear, effective external technology communications plans and joint marketing campaigns with multiple technology companies
General understanding of modern-day technology landscape and high performance compute environments - including hybrid IT infrastructure, cloud, microservices, containerization, storage, and other emerging technology platforms
Highly developed organizational and analytical skills with strong problem-solving experience
Outstanding presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Team-oriented and collaborative spirit
Possess the highest level of personal and professional integrity and quality standard
Service-oriented and focused on exceeding requirements/expectations
Working knowledge of animation industry trends, players, and basic CG animation production process preferred
