The revenue content manager will work with advertising and newsroom to identify, build and promote revenue content initiatives. He/she will manage a team who creates or coordinates content at scale, builds sponsorships and develops native content to drive digital and print revenue. The revenue content manager will be responsible for overseeing a team to drive content at scale to achieve advertiser KPIs.

Job Duties and Job Tasks
Oversee premium sponsorships
• Manage content staff responsible for coordinating or creating original content to meet sponsorship goals.
• Build relationships with newsroom to get buy-in and tactical assistance for meeting sponsorships.
• Manage digital content lead to build editorial plans to execute against and assign performance goals.
• Oversee Manager Strategic Revenue to build strategic and tactical sponsorships.
• Create attribution strategy for owned and operated inventory.
• Develop pricing and packaging strategy in collaboration with sales leaders for premium inventory.
• Responsible for garnering site-specific research from internal and external resources to inform decisions about new and existing sponsorship packages and elements.
• Manage freelance budget, invoices and payment process.

Oversee Native Content
• Manage native content producer to achieve client KPIs.
• Have a working understanding of general marketing concepts and content marketing goals.
• Work closely with sales managers to educate, train and show the value of native content.
• Set overall client success benchmarks.
• Work closely with internal CMS native stakeholders and third party content distribution platforms.
• Manage freelance budget, invoices and payment process.
• Assign day to day work for audience buyers to achieve client KPIs.
• Analyzes and creates efficient workflows.
• Work closely with buying teams on ad distribution methods.
• Hold audience buyers accountable for achieving success metrics.
• Manage freelance budget, invoices and payment process.

Drive a high volume of traffic to the site with viral/trending content
• Oversee creation of original content, including video, based on reporting and aggregation.
• Ensure adherence to journalistic and brand standards.
• Seize on breaking news/traffic peak moments with additional, audience-friendly content.
• Engage with newsrooms to keep open line of communication for our stories.
• Devises and initiates content experimentation.
• Analyzes and creates efficient workflows.
• Manage digital content lead to look for clickable stories that can be quickly rewritten for local market to increase site traffic and third party revenue.
• Manage content producers and assign strategic goals.
• Report on performance of team and develop team goals to achieve department goals. Qualifications:Education
• Bachelor's degree (or higher)

Experience • 5+ years content creation. • Management experience required. • Experience of working with advertising sponsorships• Experience developing native content for clients. • Experience making content assignments and editing content submissions• Experience working in various CMS platforms and analytics tools• Experience publishing content to social media and evaluating social success metrics
