Job Posting Title: Creative ConsultantLocation: Wichita, KS Role Summary:
The Creative Consultant is a key contributor in defining the creative strategy associated with marketing tactics on behalf of our clients and advertisers.  Manages the development, production, execution, and distribution of client’s creative content (digital, video and print) to maximize their sales efforts and drive consumer demand. Also supports the creation and maintenance of communication tools and materials to effectively promote the Cox Media brand and its product offerings. This position reports to the Senior Creative Consultant of Marketing & Client Solutions.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
  1. Works with client, sales consultant and MCS team to establish key marketing objectives, content production needs and proposed budget.
  2. Prepares content production quotes for assigned projects and obtains appropriate approvals.
  3. Leads creative process and develops concepts within the established client budget which may include mockups, storyboards, scripts etc and obtain approvals at appropriate points.
  4. Creates and streamlines processes that ensure a timely follow through of production orders from initial contact to project delivery.
  5. Acts as liasion to sales consultant, sales leadership and client throughout the content production process.
  6. Manages each project to identify resources, assign responsibilities/tasks, oversee execution and ensure timely delivery to client.
  7. Organizes program elements and works with content production crew to organize necessary technical means and personnel requirements to accomplish the task.

  9. May act as writer/designer/producer/director for special high-profile client projects.
  10. Works with Senior Creative Consultant, Creative Services Manager and Project Manager to assign projects to staff/contractors as appropriate.
  11. Supports production needs of Cox Communications Marketing, Community Affairs, Cox Business and Leadership on an as-needed basis.
  12. Collaborates with client-focused team personnel (director, manager, strategist, analyst, product specialist, marcomm specialist, coordinator, producer, editor, director, graphics, mc, etc .) to brainstorm ideas for creative, develop project, and execute production.
  13. Performs administrative duties for relevant assignments, i.e. manages and submits related budget.
  14. Oversees a suite of creative marketing materials.
  15. Drives the day to day activities with clients and sales consultants to ensure handoff of all execution responsibilities for advertising materials.
  16. Applies analytical best practices to define and execute effective direct response testing scenarios.   
  17. Drives and oversees campaign materials design from creation through project completion that aligns with the overarching campaign strategy.  
  18. Manages the development of a creative brief from the strategic brief in alignment with agreed upon budget and timelines. 
  19. Partners with the client and sales consultant to ensure all advertising and marketing materials are in line with brand guidelines and uphold brand integrity.
  20. Ensures any regional nuances are incorporated into marketing creative plans.



Qualifications:Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum
  • 7 or more years of experience required in related field (Marketing, Communications, etc.) 
  • 5 or more years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree
  • Experience in developing creative concepts, scripts, outlines, story boards
  • Requires strong knowledge of applications such Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and SharePoint
  • Excellent  analytical, decision-making, initiative, process oriented, verbal, written,  interpersonal, leadership, and collaborative skills to to work effectively with cross-functional teams 

Preferred  
  • BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (Marketing, Communications, etc.)
  • Understanding of integration process of animation and graphic elements with live action
  • Creative track record demonstrated through an audition reel or prior work
  • Advertising agency experience preferred 
  • Experience in telecommunications industry desired
  • 2+ years with digital and video content production experience including layout/design and producing/directing.
  • Experience with digital add creation and non-linear editing working with various digital formats to support instruction and guidance of the editing of productions.
