Perform sales support tasks for team’s accounts, including analyzing customer metrics and fulfilling customer requests. Lead compliance and risk management analysis on teams’ top MVPDs on a monthly to quarterly basis.Negotiate designated accounts with cable, satellite and internet streaming providers from transactional activity to ongoing account management.Manage event planning for trade shows and conferences and reporting of client visits.Serve as a primary point of direct administrative contact for the team’s accounts – deal renewal activity, sponsorships, client ticket requests, affiliate inquiries and calendar management. Maintain team’s affiliate contact and client management system.Perform basic administrative tasks as necessary.
The Sales Manager is an important support position on the NBCUniversal (NBCU) Content Distribution team. This individual will provide comprehensive support to their respective sales team, which is constituted of a SVP, VP, and Directors, and assist in the management of certain assigned MVPD accounts.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum two (2) year sales, marketing, finance or business development experience, preferably in the media/entertainment industry
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint required
Strong business acumen with a general understanding of telecommunications and media industries
Excellent people skills, teamwork, willingness to learn, organized, ability to prioritize assignments, friendly, confident, well-organized, adaptability, team leadership roles, meet deadlines, creative problem solver
