Support the theatrical domestic Universal Pictures Partnerships team in pitching, negotiating and securing impactful third-party brand partnerships that are on-strategy for assigned film titles and deliver above-the-line media support as well as below-the-line exposure for select Universal Pictures titles.

Reports into the VP, Partnership Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop the partnership strategy for assigned titles and identify and manage what pitching tools or custom concepts/assets are needed to help secure programs. Pitch and secure brand partnerships that deliver meaningful exposure for assigned Universal Pictures title. Negotiate partnership agreements, including any placement fees, event sponsorships, applicable licensing fees/royalties, etc. Research, cultivate inroads and develop meaningful relationships with brands directly, as well as their agency partners. Support Directors on the team on tentpole title assignments, when applicable, in addition to select assigned titles. Ongoing assistance and participation in shepherding brand partner promotions from negotiation phase to the execution phase. Be a relied-upon resource for the execution team, when applicable. Travel (when necessary; even last minute) to attend pitch meetings or conferences, cover any potential product integration needs and any other travel or participation necessary to ensure the success of partners’ programs. Oversight and maintenance of assigned title’s partnerships budget. Liase with Universal’s Production Resources Team and third party production resources teams for film integrations, if applicable.Develop cross-promotional support and amplified opportunities for brand partners across various marketing disciplines (e.g. publicity, field promotions, digital, film music, etc.). Take on special projects, as assigned.

Experience/Education: Bachelor’s degree, plus a minimum of 4 years in brand marketing and/or entertainment partnership and promotions experience
