The Washington Post is seeking an experienced video producer to launch a new line of coverage about humanity’s efforts to confront global warming and adapt to a changing world. The ideal candidate has a passion for long-term coverage of the subject and is able to translate scientific concepts for a broader audience.
This video producer will work closely with our climate and environment reporters, photographers and graphic artists to produce immersive journalism. This producer must be able to manage freelance videographers around the world to create visually stunning video. The ideal candidate is an experienced storyteller, able to craft a stylized, memorable story – from short- to long-form.
The ability to edit on Adobe products is also required. This job is based in our Washington newsroom and is not eligible for remote work.
