ROLE SUMMARYThe Master Agent Channel Manager is responsible for managing Master Agent relationships across all Cox Business products and lines of business.   The Master ACM will design and lead a nation-wide go-to-market strategy with one or more of Cox Business’ strategic master agents.  This individual will serve as the primary point of contact leading all go-to-market initiatives & efforts with the select Master Agents representing Cox Business and all its new ventures.  This will include the direct management of all business development and enablement aspects within these agents.  Along with being tasked to execute and attain key sales metrics to meet and exceed revenue targets. Accountable to develop scalable, sustainable business practices that impact revenue growth with assigned Master Agents.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS• Implements channel programs and policies as directed by corporate leadership• Master Agent Strategy:  Align with key executive stakeholders with supported partners and create a model that can replicated down channel, within multiple regions, within multiple lines of business, and with diverse agents.   • Field Alignment:   Ensure that all Channel Managers are properly aligned with key partners within their region, and that our team understands each agent profile, rules of engagement and how to properly transact in the field.   • Internal Development:  Develop and implement sales selling cycle and methodology based on Master’s Agent’s rules of engagement, culture and channel / sales model.• Key Metrics:   At Master Agent level, create velocity by building pipeline, managing deal flow and monitor key metrics designed to meet and exceed desired revenue targets.• Partner Enablement & Training:  Effectively communicate the value proposition of all Cox Business lines of business to Master Agents and sub-agents within the channel ecosystem.    Educate and train agents on solution portfolio and communicate new products as they become available.   • Marketing:   Assist Marketing with managing event sponsorship and strategy to elevate brand recognition.   • Create repeatable GTM sales engagement plan that can be leveraged by our national channel teams.• Coordinates sales process for large multi-market/multi-line of business sales opportunities• Provide weekly sales forecasting to leadership.• Expected to meet a monthly sales quota(s) as set by leadership.  • Manages channel portfolio effectively to avoid potential conflicts with other sales team members• Provides monthly/quarterly status reports of the success of the Agent program to leadership, upper management, and VPs.• Attend monthly meetings, and provide reports, to Master Agents on their success and progress.• Follows set standards and procedures set by Cox Business Services Atlanta • Work from the Master Agent offices on a regular basis.   • Travel to key markets and events as required. • Performs other related duties as assigned by leadership.Qualifications:MINIMUM• 5 years of experience in a related field (Marketing, Sales, Operations, etc.) • Requires computer literacy and strong/expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites• Excellent interpersonal, managerial, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams and leadership throughout the organization• Excellent organizational and time management skills• Apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving problems that are complex in scope requiring in-depth evaluation as well as identifying problems in advance, and proposing solutions• Require limited supervision and direction; drive results and set priorities independentlyPREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED• BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Marketing, Business, etc.).• Experience in telecommunications industry desired• At least one-year previous experience working with telecommunications Master Agents
