Role Purpose
The Manager, Direct-to-Consumer Products will have a user-centric, omni-channel responsibilities overseeing product messaging across the NBC Sports Group’s websites and associated applications. The Manager, Direct-to-Consumer Products will interface and consult with cross-functional teams to drive product awareness through customer service, store reviews, product managed social channels, in app messaging and user experience messaging. In addition, they will assist with product launches, post-launch optimization and product roadmap execution of NBC Sports Group.


Responsibilities
  • Support for executive presentations and partner communications
  • Support for customer experience messaging, escalation processes and training
  • Liaise with business, marketing and customer service on product launches, new features, promotions, etc.
  • Write app interaction text and UX / UI messaging for new features/navigation
  • Oversee product messaging for app store release notes, submission packaging, FAQs and other relevant text based documentation
  • Assist with the analysis of customer service data and the compilation of site performance data
  • Help conduct QA and test cases for NBC Sports Group websites and associated applications
  • Assist with backend and frontend updates to NBC Sports sites including product terms, pricing, promotions and messaging



Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in customer acquisition, retention or management with proven ability to deliver results
  • Minimum five (5) years’ digital media experience
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in digital product management
  • Experience working with content management systems and digital publishing of video, news and information
  • BA/BS in communications or related degree


Additional Qualifications
  • Experience successfully working across levels and functional areas in a dynamic, fast-paced environment (i.e., technical, creative, and executive team)
  • Organized, self-starter who can work independently within set objectives
  • Knowledge of front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Familiarity with all web and mobile platforms, including Apple iOS, Android, etc.
