Post-production Video Editor for climate and environment team

The Washington Post is seeking an experienced post-production editor to work with a new team covering humanity’s efforts to confront global warming and adapt to a changing world. The ideal candidate is an experienced storyteller, able to craft stylized, memorable videos – from short to long form.
Candidates should be experienced post-production editors who can make a story come alive in the edit room with the ability to contribute to all artistic aspects of web video series, from production design to the finished product.
A strong sense of what drives video views on mobile, tablet, desktop and OTT is also required. Candidates should be at the forefront of how technology is changing the creation and distribution of video. The ideal candidate will push the boundaries of innovative storytelling.
The ability to expertly use the full suite of Adobe video tools is required.
