  • Provide outstanding customer service to existing and potential clients by being courteous, responsive and resourceful.
  • Prioritize and control workflow between rental agent, floor staff and driver to maximize efficiency and quality of service.
  • Maintain organized folders in the following areas: customer out/in contracts, loss & damage, sub rental receipts/return contracts, completed pull lists.
  • Quality assurance of all packages going out and identify equipment returned damaged by customer. Catalogue damages for reimbursement.
  • Generate accurate repair invoices and communicate loss & damage cost to client efficiently and effectively to ensure payment and avoid dispute.
  • Run daily activity confirmation reports and coordinate with rental agent to complete.
  • Monitor inventory to avoid availability conflicts and adjust to support forecast.
  • Effectively manage inventory flow to minimize sub rentals, and manage expedient sub rental returns.
  • Coordinate transfers with fellow off-sites to support local need.
  • Generate customer quotes/coordinate sub rentals and create pull lists along with rental agent during periods of high volume production support.
  • Manage routine maintenance and repair schedules on a variety of equipment from LED fixture firmware updates to inspection of chain hoists.
  • Handle problem situations courteously and effectively and resolve them as they arise.
  • Suggest reasonable substitutions to client in order to optimize available inventory.
  • Assist accounting department in rectifying invoice and PO discrepancies with Clients and Vendors.
  • Oversee shop organization projects to streamline for efficiency.


  • •Must be computer literate with detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of the rental software Rental Tracker Pro is required.
    •Broad understanding of motion picture television lighting, grip and electrical equipment as well as the impact of LED lighting on the industry.
    •Exceptional customer service skills with a strong sense of urgency.
    •Must be able to operate a forklift and maintain a valid driver’s license.
    •Able to organize, prioritize and execute numerous orders in tandem.
    •Effective communicator with the ability to give clear concise direction with all necessary detail.
    •Command respect from the team and hold them accountable for upholding company standards and executing on your directives.
    •Must handle stressful situations professionally and confidentially as well as interact with co-workers and clients professionally.
    •Adaptable personality and skill set to support team members on all levels of the organization.
    •Proven knowledge of RTPro rental software and intricacies of quoting process.
    •Preferred 2 years experience leading a team or direct management experience.
    •Must have advanced knowledge of electrical Film and Television Lighting and Grip Equipment.
    •Effective communicator with all levels of personnel, operational supervisors and front line crew.
    •Able to coach employees, encourage teamwork and promote high standards of customer service.
    •Can manage multiple lines of communication while maintaining a mobile workflow.
    •Strong computer and written skills: ability to understand multiple operating systems.
    •Solutions minded individual with a focus on efficiency and organization.
