Are you pursuing a career in Communications, Media, and/or Marketing? We are looking for reliable, hard-working, outgoing, creative individuals to join the
CMG Marketing Department. As a representative of our stations, your
responsibilities might include working on location at radio station events,
live broadcasts, interacting with listeners, social media activation and
clerical duties.





Cox Media Group - Houston has an immediate
opening for a Brand Ambassador and we want to talk with you.  You
will represent The New 93Q Country, Country Legends 97.1 and 106.9 and 107.5 Houston’s





We are seeking a highly intelligent, results oriented and talented individual with a passion for original entertainment to join our growing marketing team. The
right candidate will be a team player who takes initiative with excellent
written and verbal communication skills. All employees are expected to bring a
positive attitude to the work place and be cheerful, cooperative and productive
and to perform other such duties as may be required for the efficient
operations our radio stations.


Responsibilities with the daily
operations of CMG Marketing department include but not limited to:



  • Planning, organizing and executing events
  • Contest fulfillment
  • Website and/or social media development
  • Driving station vehicles to transport, load-in and load-out setup and
    operate marketing equipment
  • General office duties










Provide general knowledge of all stations and can engage and initiate conversations with listeners


  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must have a valid Texas Driver License with clean driving record and proof of liability insurance
  • Must be able to drive station vehicle and other non-compact vehicles
  • Must live in Houston and/or surrounding areas
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation
  • Must have strong communication skills and the ability to engage with people
  • Must be well-versed in social media and knowledgeable in mobile
  • Must be able to lift/carry/set-up minimum 35 lb equipment on your own and stand for multiple hours
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must have the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must have a good attitude and work well with others
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 4 events per month


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge in video recording, editing and Photoshop are a plus.
  • Working towards or have already obtained a bachelor’s degree in
    Marketing, Communications and/or Media Relations
  • Have a strong interest in radio, music, promotions, marketing, and
    social media.
