Job Summary:

The Lead /Demand Generation Manager plays the
leading role on the Marketing team by being responsible for the development,
strategy and execution of demand generation and lead generation activities for
Cox Media advertising solutions companywide. 
This includes the implementation of lead generation and demand
generations systems, vendor evaluation and selection process, lead scoring,
lead nurturing campaigns and ensuring the optimum use of all marketing
automation systems. The Lead/Demand Generation Manager will work with the
Marketing and Sales team to develop lead generation tactics such as lead
programs, webinars, white papers, virtual events, videos and more to ensure
effective campaigns across all markets and target customers.  The Lead/Demand Generation Manager provides
leadership to a team of New Business Development Consultants (“NBD”s) that
qualify leads for distribution to the appropriate sales channel.



 

Essential
Responsibilities & Duties:



  • Develop
    the strategy for lead generation and demand generation initiatives for Cox
    Media companywide.
  • Conduct
    vendor evaluation and selection process to further these efforts.
  • Create
    strategies, systems and processes for lead scoring and nurturing.
  • Work
    with our field markets to develop and initiate lead and demand generation
    campaigns that align with our business strategies and target customers.
  • Be
    a key contributor to generating content and ideas for demand generation
    campaigns and content such as webinars, white papers, emails.
  • Play
    a key role in designing and managing our marketing automation programs and
    getting the optimum value from the system in terms of sales enablement, revenue
    generation and overall impact to Cox Media. 
  • Recommend,
    create and manage nurturing campaigns for key target segments.
  • Manage
    demand generation campaigns performance in terms of evaluating results tactic
    by tactic and optimizing performance over time, testing variables in the plan
    to improve future performance.  Analyze
    and report results effectively.
  • Develop
    and implement direct marketing campaigns targeting new prospects and current
    clients in key segments and verticals to raise levels of client acquisition and
    retention.
  • Build
    and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in marketing, research,
    operations and sales both corporately and at the field level.
  • Develop
    and maintain a strong understanding of Cox Media’s sales channels and target
    audiences their profiles, challenges and their interests.
  • Be
    responsible for meeting targets for leads generated both annual revenue and
    qualified leads.
  • Provide
    leadership to a team of New Business Development Consultants focused on
    engaging, qualifying and passing leads to the appropriate sales channel.
  • As
    needed, coach and develop New Business Development consultants weekly and
    monthly to ensure success.
  • Track
    lead-to-win performance to monthly goals.
  • Performs
    other duties as required.
































Qualifications:Minimum:

  • 5+
    years managing B2B demand/lead generation activities and campaigns. 
  • Demonstrated
    experience executing successful demand/lead generation campaigns in a
    fast-paced organization.
  • Prior
    experience using marketing automation solutions such as Eloqua, Marketo to
    achieve successful results including experience with lead scoring and lead
    nurturing.
  • Strong
    track record of developing content and managing creative development of
    supporting components of demand/lead generation campaigns.
  • Experience
    organizational and project management skills. 
    Ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
  • Strong
    written and verbal communication skills including ability to write emails,
    articles etc.
  • Strong
    team player with demonstrated skills working with internal and external
    partners including vendors, clients, markets and other teams.
  • Strong
    analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent
    communication and interpersonal skills.


















Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s
    degree strongly preferred, Master’s degree a plus.
  • Experience
    in telecommunication industry.
