The Director of Marketing and Communications is a critical part of the leadership team whose main purpose is to share Family & Nursing Care’s services with current and potential clients and referral sources in creative, resourceful and exciting ways. This professional is responsible for strategic planning and implementation of all Marketing and Communications activities, in a coordinated effort to address FNC’s audiences with a unified voice and with defined ROI metrics. This is an extremely collaborative role, with high visibility throughout the company. Considering Part-time candidates for 32 hours per week, benefits eligible.

 

Responsibilities:

Marketing and PR

  • Strategize and implement advertising and marketing strategy
  • Manage digital presence and image
  • Strategize and prepare newsletters and collateral based on clear goals, plans and audiences
  • Oversee marketing budget
  • Manage outside PR and marketing vendors including graphic designers

Communications

  • Proactively determine need for and messaging for internal and external communications, including crisis communications if needed
  • Assist senior staff and sales team with presentations
  • Support caregiver recruiting efforts

Business Development

  • Represent FNC at industry events
  • Generate interest in FNC and heighten brand awareness
  • Research new potential markets
  • Perform competitive market analyses and make recommendations to operations based on findings
  • Oversee holiday gifts

Events

  • Oversee Marketing Specialist regarding logistics
  • Conceptualize look, feel and messaging to tailor event to each audience
  • Oversee all elements of programming and presentations
  • Utilize events as opportunities to connect with FNC stakeholders

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as Director of Marketing and/or Communications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing and communications or relevant field
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and a commitment to excellence
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and customer relations skills, customer-oriented approach with aptitude
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords
  • Maintain professional and harmonious working relations with co-workers, clients, referral sources, and any other external resources
  • Demonstrate the highest level of internal and external customer service at every opportunity
