Job Purpose

As a Strategic Sales manager, you will  be responsible for all East Coast Sales for the Future Education vertical with a focus on Tech & Learning as well sales for TWICE. We pride ourselves on providing intelligent and innovative solutions that draw on our incredible teams of experts across both digital and print media as well as events and major shows. 

You will have a track record of sales success,  account management skills and knowledge of the many types of advertising Future offers -  including display, programmatic, print, custom content, and experiential.

Key responsibilities

  • Prospecting new clients, generating sales leads and closing business

  • Schedule and conduct phone calls and meetings with ad agency and company decision-makers for assigned accounts

  • Identify and connect with potential clients and leads.

  • Meeting and exceeding all revenue goal targets through execution of strategic sales plans

  • Adhering to outlined sales KPI’s

  • Communicate the value of Future US by walking through detailed presentations.

  • Prepare brand-specific proposals to proactively win new business.

  • Hit monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

  • Understand competitive differentiators in fast-changing advertising landscape.

  • Work with team to help share customer insights to shape our products.

What do I need to succeed?

  • Proven ability as a top sales professional with substantial experience in the B2B space

  • Knowledge and experience of selling integrated media solutions across print, digital and events formats

  • Experience with NetSuite  and/or similar sales operations platforms

  • Passion and understanding for the Education market is highly beneficial

  • Self-starter; ability to work independently, but also fit into a strong team environment

  • Creative problem solver, resourceful and able to think strategically

  • Competitive and determined attitude

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and organizational skills

  • Values learning and ongoing feedback

  • Ability to close business on a consistent basis
