We are looking for a Programmatic Ad Platform Manager to join a small but growing team at Fox News responsible for all programmatic operations, trafficking and client management.  As the Programmatic Ad Manager, you are responsible for managing the operations and delivery of all programmatic campaigns.  You partner with the Programmatic Account Executives, and work closely with the Ad Operations, Yield and Business Development Team. You serve as the programmatic operations subject matter expert for other internal ad ops employees to learn from. Your role is critical to the success and continued revenue growth of the Programmatic Sales team.




  • Manage all aspects of non-guaranteed ad stack from partnership, technology, reporting and sales strategy
  • Establish new private marketplaces, programmatic products and other programmatic sales initiatives
  • Perform end-to-end delivery of programmatic ad campaigns and non-guaranteed line items inclusive of setup, onboarding, trafficking and reporting within FOX News ad servers and 3rd party SSPs
  • Partner with sales and programmatic sellers in execution of programmatic campaigns, including the setup of deal IDs for PMP programs, troubleshooting programmatic guaranteed campaigns and the setup of ongoing reporting for new campaigns 
  • Establish benchmarks around campaign performance for use across all programmatic campaigns
  • Monitor deal health of private marketplaces (auctions and preferred) programmatic guaranteed deals and any tag based implementations
  • Partner with various parties (including salesperson, agency contacts, DSP etc) to activate private deal spend
  • Project management of vendor platform integrations in partnership with Ad tech team
  • Manage ad server setup and deployment for all header bidding partners and header bidding wrappers
  • Create, improve and automate workflows across programmatic sales channels
  • Carry out programmatic ad quality standards, including protection from bad ads, malware, troubleshooting slow ad creatives and block list initiatives
  • Ensures delivery of key strategic programmatic partnerships
  • Manage all programmatic modifications within the ad server, including changes to price floors, targeting, header bidding / yield group changes or any programmatic line items



  • 3+ years’ experience in digital ad operations, including  GAM/DFP experience working with video ads and the IAB VAST specs and strong Google Query Tool skills
  • 2+ years in Programmatic including familiarity with SSPs (Appnexus, Rubicon, Index Exchange etc)
  • Ability to multitask with the ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment
  • Facile and comfortable with ad technology and working on related projects or issues that require troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to message information to different groups effectively, from developers to sales people
  • Proactive and solution oriented nature
  • Self-starter attitude, entrepreneurial spirit and quick learner
  • A Bachelor’s degree
