PMC: Office Assistant (Front Desk)

We have a bustling front desk in need of a reliable and friendly Office Assistant to manage and support our West LA office of approximately 300 employees. Friendly and professional, you will be the face of PMC directing employees, visitors and clients, as well as accepting and routing phone calls and all mail and deliveries. Our ideal candidate will be an outgoing “people person” with outstanding organizational skills, superior attention to details, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and requests with a can-do attitude and a smile!


  • Answer, screen and direct all incoming calls on a multi-line phone system
  • Greet and direct visitors with a welcoming disposition
  • Maintain conference room calendars
  • Ensure reception area and conference rooms are professional and tidy
  • Manage and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
  • Provide general support to all employees including: booking conference rooms and processing FedEx and UPS orders when necessary
  • Coordinate parking needs for all visitors and employees, including visitor validations and employee parking badges
  • Work with Manager of Office Services and Human Resources to welcome all new hires
  • Work with Property Manager to address security and other building issues
  • Provide support for any recurring or special events (i.e. company lunches, team birthdays, company events, etc.)
  • Manage inventory of parking passes, key cards and various other office/employee supplies by ensuring they are always in stock, logged, organized and distributed as needed
  • Special projects, as needed


  • 2-3 years of recent work experience as an Office Administrator in a business environment
  • Professional, warm and friendly personality to give the best possible impression to all guests
  • Excellent and quick communicator
  • Extremely resourceful and quick on your feet
  • Ability to work under stress and time crunch
  • Technically savvy and can navigate various calendaring and purchasing sites
  • Respond to sensitive matters and/or situations with discretion, tact, and confidentiality
  • Proficiency with Word and Excel
  • Multi-line phone experience
  • Ability to work independently or as a team
  • Extremely reliable and consistent
