Variety Business Intelligence (VBI): Data Tracking Temp Intern – International Content

Are you trying to break into the entertainment business? Do you love content from around the world? Many employers require prior work experience for assistant level jobs. You can get the experience you need while getting paid at Variety Business Intelligence, the research and data division of Variety. Internships can last up to 12 weeks.

We are looking for someone for Variety Insight's database of global film & TV metadata. This is an ideal internship for an aspiring writer, director, producer or studio/network executive. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about content from around the world.

The Variety Business Intelligence internship program exposes recent graduates to all aspects of the entertainment business in a friendly, respectful environment.  Intern duties include information tracking and data entry responsibilities, and also can involve light phone duties.

Qualifications: Must be available 40 hours per week for a total 12 week term. Must be currently enrolled or recently graduated (within 2 to 3 years) from an accredited college or university. Must be able to manage own tasks and deadlines.

Must have a high technical aptitude and working knowledge of Internet and software applications, including Microsoft Office products.

Must have excellent written and verbal skills and a very high attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills with a team player attitude.
