CHOICE (;, a publishing unit of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL), and the publisher of Choice, the premier source for reviews of new English-language books and digital resources for academic libraries, is seeking an administrative assistant to coordinate the Choice/ACRL webinar program.

The Digital Media Assistant provides production support for various projects including webinars and podcasts, enewsletters, editorial features, social media posts, and front-end web design. This position reports to the Director of Operations and works closely with the Digital Media Specialist, Marketing Manager, and Editorial team, as well as outside vendors and advertisers.

Salary: Negotiable from the high-30s, based on relevant experience.

Knowledge of sound and video editing software (Audacity, Avid ProTools, Hindenburg, Adobe Premier Pro) and web tools including HTML/CSS and WordPress. The Digital Media Assistant should be interested in learning new skills and exploring new technologies. They need to be an independent worker with solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize deadlines in a high volume, deadline driven environment.

Training: Sound and video editing software. WordPress, HTML/CSS. Word processing software, spreadsheets, email.

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; with classes in communications/marketing also preferred.

Experience: Minimum one to three years related experience. Previous publishing experience.
