OVERVIEW:

Responsible for local Electronic Field Production (EFP) staff and freelance crew bookings and scheduling of shoots. Assist EFP management in overseeing field operations, and serve as a liaison between the crew and EFP management.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate booking of all local staff and freelance crew personnel.
  • Responsible for generating daily EFP schedules, maintaining availability sheets and keeping crew and show personnel informed of changes.
  • Planning efficient use of labor and resources using company guidelines.
  • Inform and consult regularly with EFP management on scheduling issues that are pertinent to field production.
  • Assist EFP management in the upkeep of the freelance list by helping to recruit, schedule and train appropriate freelancers.
  • Assist live events with crewing as necessary.
  • Assist EFP management in coordinating equipment repairs, maintenance and upgrades with engineering.
  • Assist crew and freelancers with creation and maintenance of user accounts and passwords, and instructing them on how to fill out time cards.
  • Maintain an orderly work environment
  • Cross train in other scheduling positions.
  • Other duties as needed and/or assigned by supervisor.


  • -Minimum 2 years television scheduling or production coordinating experience.

    -ScheduaAll and Microsoft Excel experience a plus.

    -Must have a general knowledge of television production including field acquisition, studio operations, and post production.

    -Individual should be well organized and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

    -Must be able and willing to work flexible schedule, overtime, and weekends as needed.

    -Knowledge of camera and audio equipment a plus.
