The University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business is seeking a well-qualified Media Specialist to join the Ed Snider Center for Enterprise & Markets. Online Master’s Programs Office. Under the supervision of Ed Snider Center’s Media and Marketing Director, the Media Specialist provides direct assistance for web, digital, online, video and design projects. This position will support in the development and implementation of digital marketing efforts that include website management, email marketing, social media content and google analytics. The Media Specialist will also assist and in some cases spearhead event and program marketing across and beyond the University of Maryland campus.
BA/BS degree with at least 3 years of professional experience in related field. Experience with at least 2 of the following: creating social media content, digital media strategy, web design, photography, graphic design or video production/editing. High level of organization with the ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of implementation. Ability to write and communicate clearly and concisely. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and InDesign; Strong visual acuity with attention to detail; Self-starter who can both collaborate on a team and work independently.
