MOVEON REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Project: Digital Asset Management Specialist

Proposals accepted on a rolling basis until: October 1, 2019

Project overview: MoveOn seeks a consultant, based anywhere within the U.S., to work with our staff on the implementation of a digital asset management (DAM) software that will improve our organization’s asset retention, cataloging, and usage. The software will house MoveOn-commissioned assets as well as content created organically by MoveOn members. Our DAM software will enable MoveOn to better effect progressive change through better use of compelling visual content.

 

Scope of work: 

  • Familiarize yourself with MoveOn’s current and planned asset retention systems and software (Canto)
    Working with key staff, review content and assets and apply correct taxonomy, tagging, and metadata within the DAM software, including:
    • Migrating photos from existing storage into the DAM software
      Coordinating asset collection among staff, along with project lead
    Partner with project leads to assist with staff training and onboarding around the DAM software
    Provide input on DAM system usage guide for internal use

     

Criteria for selection: 

  • Experience in digital content management and asset libraries

     

    Experience working with advocacy groups, campaigns, or non-profit organizations

     

    Demonstrated commitment to advancing equity in the work you produce

Cost and availability: Include an estimate for hourly rate in your proposal and any limitations on your availability. We anticipate this project will require 120-150 hours of work and should be completed by the end of the 2019 calendar year.

Most-favorable terms:

 

  • MoveOn reserves the right to make an award without further discussion of the proposal submitted. Therefore, the proposal should be submitted initially on the most favorable terms that the vendor could propose. There will be no best-and-final-offer procedure. MoveOn does reserve the right to contact a vendor for clarification of its proposal.

     

    The vendor should be prepared to accept this request for proposal for incorporation into a contract resulting from this request for proposal. Contract negotiations may incorporate some or the vendor’s entire proposal. It is understood that the proposal will become a part of the official procurement file on this matter without obligation to MoveOn.

This request for proposal does not obligate MoveOn to contract for services specified herein.

Rejection of proposals

MoveOn reserves the right at its sole discretion to reject any and all proposals received without penalty and not to issue a contract as a result of this request for proposal.
