Job Purpose

Are you ambitious, curious and commercially driven? This is truly a unique opportunity! 

We are looking for high potential Project Executives to work directly with members of our Executive Leadership Team to drive forwards and deliver key business projects. You will be assigned to work closely with one member of the executive team, learning all aspects of their business areas and playing a pivotal role in delivery of critical programmes of work. You could work across one of the following areas:

  • Technology & IT
  • Content & Editorial
  • Marketing
  • Operations
  • Finance
  • Strategy
  • Sales & Revenue

With unrivalled exposure to the commercial running of the Future business, you will gain a wide range of experiences supporting projects at every stage, from design, conception, planning, execution and handover to the business. You’ll be ensuring that designated initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality.

This a tough role in terms of expectation but the career reward will be huge. We expect our Project Executives to step into key roles across the business within 12-18 months of joining.

As part of this role you will undertake a professional qualification in Project Management.

Key responsibilities

  • Day-to-day support to the assigned Executive Leadership Team member in the delivery of business defining initiatives

  • Lead delivery on key initiatives in your specialised work stream (this could be Operations, Technology, Content, Marketing, Sales, Finance, IT, B2B) 

  • Coordinate and report on progress of project producing data and presentations.

  • Produce engaging communication and information using traditional and innovative methods

  • Organise and engage with third parties on behalf of your Executive Team Leader

  • Manage the  administration of organizing and delivering on projects that you are accountable for.

  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure momentum and delivery on key initiatives, building a network across the global business.

  • Shadow the Executive team member and put into practice what has been learned

What do I need to succeed?

  • You will have an undergraduate degree (ideally majoring in business or a media related subject) 

  • Strong numerical and verbal reasoning capability

  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to produce excellent written communication and presentations.

  • Passion and interest in media and technology- demonstrated  through your studies, work experience and/or extra-curricular activities.

  • Highly organized with a determination to see projects through to completion.

  • Future is a fast-paced,dynamic business so you must be able to deal effectively with change and thrive on ambiguity

  • We are constantly striving to innovate so you should be a creative thinker, comfortable to go outside of the norm

  • Commercial acumen and hunger to understand how a business works

  • Geographically mobile- you will be based in the same location as your ELT member but you will be required to travel as required both domestically and globally.
