Cox Business is the growth engine of Cox Communications and is seeking to accelerate its growth through online sales and marketing. The Senior Director, Digital Sales and Marketing will have oversight for defining and leading the holistic digital strategy and online experience for Cox Business. Reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing and Sales Operations, the ideal candidate will seek to maximize new and existing customer relationships and revenue, shaping integrated digital marketing and sales efforts including, but not limited to paid and earned media planning and placement, social and content strategy and creation, Cox.com user experience and web design. This national role will serve as a strategic differentiator against an ever-growing field of business-to-business providers with the focus of driving upward evolution of the Company’s total online sales.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Defines the overall cox.com web marketing strategy, objectives and deliverables to inspire business website visitor traffic, promote engagement and increase business customer acquisition growth.Oversees cox.com user experience and website design from the marketing pages of the site to the eCommerce purchase funnel to improve revenue and relationship growth.Partners with appropriate internal and external parties to plan, execute and optimize end-to-end campaign management of online marketing and advertising campaigns, including but not limited to SEO, SEM, social media, mobile, email, display, affiliate and aggregator channels to meet and exceed subscriber and revenue goals.Collaborates with product teams, business units, and creative services to develop on-brand, best-in-class creative and content assets, e.g. landing pages, email campaigns, mobile, display banners and advertisements with the holistic customer journey in mind.Provides oversight and guidance for customer online portal experience.Partners with key business leaders in the creation, management and testing of messages across all online business marketing programs and external communication channels.In collaboration with marketing sciences and residential digital sales and marketing organizations, produces, analyzes and tracks KPIs to increase customer conversion rate, lifetime value and associated online marketing campaign performance ROI.Leads our strategic roadmap for how Cox Business can aggressively seek to leverage the content, digital, social and mobile media landscape, as well as provide corporate governance for how the Cox Business brand engages in the digital space. Develop an earned, owned and bought digital strategy for Cox Business. Owns the development, assessment and implementation of digital media, holding agency partners accountable with setting relevant sales and service key performance metrics and goals.

Achieve assigned financial targets for revenue and expenseLead an existing team focused on digital sales and marketing success with an eye towards building the digital sales and marketing organization of tomorrowAct as both the internal and external evangelist to maximize online sales and marketing Partner with cross-functional leaders to create a best-in-class digital customer experienceQualifications:BA/BS degree in a related discipline strongly preferred (marketing, advertising, etc.)10+ years of an impressive track record in related digital, creative, integrated media, content, digital (display, SEM, mobile) and social media to ensure maximum ROI and tracking on all digital media investmentsExperience managing a $15 million or more annual digital media spend preferredStrategic thinking, courageous innovation and a creative approach to online sales and marketing analyticsStrong communication/presentation skills (speaking, presenting, promoting, selling) Creative sensibility to identify big ideas for new digital campaignsEstablished leadership acumen to guide and develop a successful team within a matrix organization

Preferred 
Cable/telecommunications experienceMBA or advanced degree (preferably focused on digital sales and marketing excellence)Entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity to explore new digital frontiersAwareness and understanding of digital marketing and mobile apps, CRM, ABM and marketing automation, e.g.  Salesforce.com, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Unica, DemandBase, etc. Able to recommend additional tools and associated software.A forward-looking leader, unbound by what’s been done or worked in the past
