The Senior Project Manager is a crucial role responsible for leading all aspects of a large-scale project portfolio within F&I and Lenders Solutions. This role is responsible for all aspects of assigned IT projects from conception through implementation, ensuring projects meet agreed upon scope and achieve the desired business outcomes.


Successful candidates are excellent communicators, problem-solvers, collaborative and can work on several projects in parallel.


Essential Functions:

  • Leads the planning, monitoring, execution, and successful completion of all projects in the portfolio – on time, on budget, on quality, and on scope.

  • Ensures that projects are planned and executed in a manner, consistent with company, strategy, commitments, goals, and standards.

  • Develops and applies industry best practices in managing the day-to-day activities of projects.

  • Collaborates with all teams in developing project plans and gathers project status efficiently by “walking around” and will lead forward looking, action-oriented status meetings.

  • Continues to stay ahead of the project team and keep them informed of upcoming activities and proactively make necessary adjustments.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders. Direct project work through indirect reports in Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Training and Operations.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations using written and verbal communication to define and communicate project scope, cost and resource estimates, progress and risks.

  • Conduct project risk assessments to identify risk such as cost, scope, and timeline. Develop mitigation plans to reduce or eliminate these risks.

  • Prepare and deliver project status reports to the Sr. Leadership team

  • 6+ years of applicable experience
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum and related principles and best practices.
  • Project management certification.
  • Proven experience in people management
  • Demonstrated experience gathering requirements and facilitating requirements gathering sessions is required
  • Experience in automotive industry a plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to build strong cross functional relationships.
  • Strong business acumen. Able to appropriately evaluate both qualitative and quantitative information to arrive at the right decision.
  • Expertise at anticipating and solving complex problems.
  • Must be able to quickly acquire technical knowledge from documentation and on the job training.
  • Bachelors degree preferred

  • 10% travel
