The Ad Sales Product Specialist is an essential position to the Sales Management Solutions team as this role will provide strategic reporting and build business solutions for NBCU Sales and Planning teams. This role will collaborate primarily with Ad Sales Executives to develop reporting strategies and tools in order to grow advertising sales. The product specialist position will support the entire NBCU Portfolio, both linear and digital.
Maintain product roadmap, including both desktop and mobile versions of in house applicationStrategize with executive business sponsors to optimize application effectiveness and efficiency, with both long and short-term goals in mindManage development and enhancements of in-house applications, including: Financial Modeling, Upfront Registrations, Sales Pacing, Scenario Planning, Dashboards and Budgeting tools which touch 1000+ usersCommunicate and document new project requirements and expectations to development team and technical executivesCommunicate application enhancements, updates and process changes to business users and support teamsPresent and train users and support teams on current/future functionalityLiaison with IT leads to set up database design, application security and system integrations Create and maintain all application documentation (i.e. requirement docs, training manual, release notes, etc)Collaborate with support teams to ensure user needs/expectations are consistently metManage the reconciliation, forecasting and budgeting processes for all NBCU properties, and work closely with Finance and Sales leaders to ensure SIC is paid correctlyCollaborate with Sales, Planning, Marketing, Research, and Finance leaders on ad sales process enhancementsShare best practices with co-workers in Sales Solutions, as well as other Comcast organizationsOversee and manage all Ad Sales ad-hoc reporting requests

• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
• 2 plus years experience in the media Ad Sales industry or product management
• Expert user of MS Office/MS Excel
• Proven experience with Business Intelligence and reporting technologies (e.g. MicroStrategy, Tableau)
• Great verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate with all levels in the Organization, both technical and non-technical
• Comfortable working with large data sets, and have experience extracting data from a data warehouse(Teradata/Oracle)

• Proven ability to effectively communicate with executive management and build relationships with people at all levels
• Ability to manage multiple teams and projects running in parallel
• Proven facilitation skills and ability to work with multi-functional teams (business and IT)
• Proven ability to be both strategic and tactical
• Proven detail orientation skills with high sense of accountability and integrity while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to think proactively and manage multiple projects
• Proven ability to enhance skillsets of other team members
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills
