Strategy Research Manager, Dow Jones
We are looking to appoint a Strategy Research Manager to provide and manage the research required for the Strategy Team’s success.
The Research Manager is responsible for coordinating projects across multiple departments.
She/he works closely with the rest of the team on both strategic development and M&A projects for Dow Jones, as well as with other teams across the business. She/he is also responsible for creating and editing briefings for senior executives, including a weekly competitor briefing. She/he also procures external market research as required and manages relationships with outside vendors.
Key skills and capabilities required:
Demonstrable knowledge of the media and information industries
Ability to write smart, clear briefings for senior executives on a tight deadline
Ability to get up to speed quickly on unfamiliar topics
Powerpoint and Excel skills
Excellent organization and planning skills
Three to five years of research experience
