The Reporting Analyst will be the liaison between Ad Sales users and IT to accomplish the following:Ability to understand business requirements and develop a solution leveraging MicroStrategyDesign and develop standard BI reports, rich Documents and Dashboards as well as interactive mobile applicationsSupport Ad-hoc reporting requests from the businessAnalyze reports and test new functionality to ensure data quality and accuracyDetermine business reporting needs and data requirements through interviews, consultations and document analysisEvaluate the information gathered and distinguish between individual wants and business needs prioritizing accordinglyDocument manual processes, calculations and business logic within specified reporting artifactsCreate reporting mock ups and high-level conceptual data mappingAct as reporting power user within business organization providing on-going ad-hoc support

• Bachelor's degree
• 1 plus years of business analysis work experience, including business process or reporting analysis
• Ability to communicate with the business and IT
• In depth knowledge of both MicroStrategy reports and documents (or similar BI tool)
• Understands BI Visualizations and best practices when building documents, dashboards and mobile applications
• Ability to quickly learn meta data and databases used
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical problem solving skills; ensuring data accuracy and reconciliation
• Good listener and open to different points of view
• Ability to work in highly collaborative environment
• Understand technical capabilities specifically within reporting
• Understanding of media, advertising or sales systems is a plus
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau)
