Job Description:

Automotive Canada’s mission is to transform the way the world buys, sells, owns
and uses cars.

are looking for high energy, motivated sales individuals with strong
communication skills for this specialized role. It is an exciting position that
brings together our buyers and sellers, making the sales process more
efficient. The Trade Desk is the heartbeat of the physical auction and our new
revolutionary digital auction platform in Canada. This position plays a
fundamental role in achieving overall sales objectives by managing and closing
leads, as well as responding to customer calls and inquiries. This individual
will assist in client retention, customer support, networking/building
relationship with existing clients, and prospecting new customers. The selected candidate must be able to work
shifts scheduled Monday through Friday 8am-5pm with the ability to work
occasional Saturdays and Thursday evenings.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Negotiating offers (IF
    bids) from our physical auction by contacting both the bidder and the seller in
    a timely matter.

  • Facilitating all
    incoming offers from our digital auction platform (MUVIT) to ensure users have
    an optimal experience.

  • Providing in-person/over-the-phone
    support between our physical and online auctions so that dealers can place
    offers on vehicles any day of the week.

  • Educate customers on our
    new digital auction platform, Simulcast,, and other related products.

  • Develop and strengthen
    relationships with dealers to improve overall sales.

  • Respond to dealer
    inquiries, problems, or concerns in a professional manner and escalate as

  • Load inventory for
    dealers (including ‘no sales’ from the physical auction) onto our digital

  • Monitor notifications
    generated online (ex. purchase confirmations, offers) and facilitate
    transactions through completion.

  • Confirm availability
    and location of vehicle (and title) at the time of purchase.

  • Generate and maintain
    required documentation for all transactions (ex. auction bill of sale, gate release).

  • Work with manager to
    ensure a consistent and effective online customer experience, and appropriate
    transaction processing.

  • Visibly demonstrate
    safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures.

  • Perform other duties as
    assigned by management.

Qualifications:Job Requirements:

ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • High
    School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • 1
    - 3 years Auction experience, or 2 - 4 years dealership/automotive experience

  • Bilingually fluent in
    French and English both written and oral.

  • Effective
    communication, negotiation, and organizational skills required.

  • Demonstrated
    success in planning and operations.

  • Proven
    experience in building relationships is required.

  • Advanced
    computer skills, including demonstrated use of Chrome/Explorer, mobile apps, and
    Microsoft Office products.

  • Ability
    to process information and make judgment decisions required.

    must be able to work shifts scheduled Monday through Friday 8am-5pm with the
    ability to work occasional Saturdays and Thursday evenings.
