Duties: Conduct desk research and identify key data points that will provide actionable insights to drive overall negotiation strategy with a portfolio of US and International Programmers. Develop sophisticated financial models necessary to assess time sensitive and confidential multi-billion-dollar deals. Prepare timely, accurate and thorough financial and operating plans, and financial analyses to support deal valuation as part Programming deal negotiations. Develop and structure deal proposals during negotiation processes. Prepare high impact PowerPoint materials for year-end meetings with senior leaders of the organization, as well as support business leadership by offering financial guidance with emphasis on managing budgeted expenses. Partner with Business Planning to manage and develop annual Programming expense budgets and annual Programming expense forecasts for the Programming business area. Help foster effective information flow and communication within Business Planning and with Programming leadership to facilitate the planning and tracking processes.

Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a closely related quantitative field plus 5 years of experience as an Associate, or related position within the financial services or telecommunications industry. Full term experience must include the following: performing financial modeling, deal structuring and deal valuation for time sensitive multi-billion dollar deals; working with and maintaining highly confidential and sensitive information related to multi-billion dollar deals; conducting desk research and extracting relevant information from documentation to perform financial analyses; working with large quantities of data using Microsoft Excel and VBA; applying knowledge of general accounting/finance principles and guidelines; and developing high impact executive ready presentations in PowerPoint to present to senior leadership.
