The Sales Planner is primarily responsible for the development of strategic sales proposals that meet both the advertiser and network’s needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Proposal Maintenance:Work closely with Sales, Strategic Planning, and Commercial Ops to manage all preemptions and programming changes - recommend schedules according to availability, generate flow charts to reflect all changes, cancellation option and expansion optionsWork closely with Inventory Managers to coordinate plan approvals
Client Service: Develop strong understanding of our products and solutions for advertisersAssist in the creation of effective go to market tools for the sales teamEstablish relationships with agency and advertiser partnersRespond to Sales requests about inventory, ad products, creative specifications, and researchLiaise with Sales, Strategic Planning, Ad Sales Finance, Commercial Ops, and Marketing to ensure sold schedules run
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 1+ years related experience in media sales or buying
