This position is an integral part of the Promotions team. This candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to the team in the implementation of various marketing programs, as well as managing all winner fulfillment for USH. This candidate will be expected to demonstrate a desire to create improved and better outcomes through innovation and approaching tasks in new ways. Responsibilities
  • Support management in the development and implementation of all promotional aspects
  • Assist the team in:
  • Developing General Market and Latino media added value promotions
    • Includes development and implementation while working with both internal USH teams and external media partners
  • The execution of promotions tied to key Third Party Partners and Corporate Sponsors
  • Help to generate and pitch new initiatives that will enhance the Universal Studios Hollywood brand
  • Work with internal Marketing & Sales departments to execute approved initiatives
  • Manage program timelines, including creative development from start to finish, and track the status of promotional programs
  • Prepare reports and presentations for both internal and external meetings
  • Coordinate logistics for onsite Radio Remotes, TV Shoots and Special Events
  • Facilitate post analysis reports of each program
  • Provide on-going recap of all competitors promotions in the marketplace
  • Assist in the tracking and reconciliation of the budget for the department
  • Including partnering with the finance department to manage future financial commitments, and explanations of variances to monthly budget
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Promotional Winner Fulfillment
  • Work with finance team to commit spend for winner fulfilment
  • Work with internal team and partner for winner selection
  • Send a congratulations package to the winner which includes: winner affidavit, companion affidavits, travelers questionnaire, blackout dates, and congratulations letter
  • Reserve airfare, hotel, ground transportation and USH tickets
  • Send a confirmation package once all trip details have been finalized
  • If necessary, create a USH merchandise bag and send to winner
  • Maintain individual documentation package for each winner and trip
  • Work with Promotions team to update winner fulfillment budget
  • Reconcile and close out billing for each winner fulfillment
  • Work with internal team to manage and fulfill Hard Ticket and / or Will Call Ticket Requests

  • • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required; majors in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or other related field preferred
    • Minimum 1-2 years of marketing or consumer promotions (internship experience will be considered)
    • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
    • Detail-oriented, organized, good follow through, able to multi-task, and work well under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
    • Solid written communication skills required
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, etc., as needed

    • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
    • Strong interpersonal and organization skills and initiative, ability to work well with all levels of management
    • Demonstrated ability to manage a large volume of complex work effectively and efficiently
    • Detail-oriented, organized, good follow through, able to multi-task, and work well under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
