The Director, Marketing, Creative Partnerships for USA, SYFY and CNBC Prime is responsible for the development, positioning, and packaging of multi-platform marketing solutions for Ad Sales clients. The position is part of an integrated marketing team that plays a key role in liaising with the sales team to identify target accounts and lead development of solutions by working with our network production partners. The Director needs to deliver on client campaign objectives while also ensuring that our content continues to stay true to our shows and properties.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Partner with sales (linear and digital) to build marketing programs for assigned networks / programming (USA, SYFY, WWE, CNBC Prime) that will ultimately yield revenue growth and premium pricing
  • Brainstorm, ideate and execute branded integration efforts
  • Handle RFP management from idea generation through deal close, working with Sales, Client or Agency Partnership teams and Channel teams
  • Develop and execute management of multi-platform partnership campaigns, inclusive of television, digital, new media, events and branded entertainment platforms
  • Support partnership post sale analysis process
  • Oversee daily communication with internal and external parties, including Sales, Production, Consumer Marketing, Traffic, Programming, Finance, Legal, Business Affairs, BE agencies/production companies, clients and their respective agencies
  • Prioritize workload and track partnerships, manage timelines, workflow and report team progress to VP
  • Responsible for development of 1-2 direct reports


  • Qualifications:
    • At least 10 years’ experience in creative roles in advertising sales marketing within the television industry, advertising agency, or digital company with ad supported revenue or highly related experience
    • Demonstrated track record of success in translating advertiser objectives into high profile integrated marketing or branded content campaigns from creative problem-solving brainstorms through flawless execution
    • Proven ability to collaborate with and influence senior executives, including excellent executive-level presentation skills, leadership and interpersonal skills
    • Experience in digital solutions a must and experience with new digital platforms or products highly desired
    • Entertainment or media experience preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

    • Excellent communications, presentation and leadership skills (both verbal and written)
    • Comfort with various types and sources of data, and ability to derive insights from data; interest in applying data to inform creative solutions
    • Established network of agency and client relationships preferred
    • Ability to travel as needed
    • Strong business ethics
    • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
