The Communications Associate, Advertising & Partnerships, will support the communications and media relations strategy of NBCUniversal’s Advertising Sales & Partnerships division, helping to manage and execute communications aimed at positively positioning NBCUniversal and its brands among trade, client and business audiences. This position reports to the Director, Corporate Communications, Advertising & Partnerships.

Responsibilities
Provide internal and external communications support for executives across NBCUniversal’s Advertising and Client Partnerships division. Assist with the execution of strategic communications plans focused on NBCUniversal’s Advertising and Client Partnerships division.Generate press releases, executive bios, media alerts, talking points, social posts, internal newsletters, and other communications materials.Develop and maintain relationships with business and trade journalists to proactively place stories around the company’s advertising sales accomplishments and business activities.Coordinate and generate ideas and materials for NBCUniversal’s Advertising Sales presence at industry events, working collaboratively across marketing and other divisions.Assist in updating and maintaining all team communications materials.Ongoing administrative activities to keep the team up to date, from morning clips to meeting notes/recaps to developing organizational and infrastructure systems.


• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ in media, social, advertising, communications, or marketing, with at least 1-2 years of full-time employment

• Communications background
• Excellent writing skills (releases, internal communications and presentations)
• Self-starter who is eager to learn, grow and develop
• A calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high-profile events
• A proactive multi-tasker, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• A team player, willing to jump in on any project or assignment, big or small
• A positive attitude and an excitement for the work and the overall mission

• A strong interest in both internal and external communications, as well as social media and events

• Demonstrated interested in the advertising, media, and entertainment industry
• Some experience working events
