Develop and design distinct business specific planning processes to support 5 key areas: Fashion, Home, Food, Health and Beauty.Scope, design, and streamline Global product development planning projects end-to-end to enable and support key strategic priorities.Optimize how executive and business leaders make decisions within and across key projects and operational processes including monthly and quarterly check-ins.Proactively, identify and develop Fast Fashion planning processes, as needed.Communication:Champion and model effective proactive global collaboration and communication to drive best results.Manage multiple stakeholders, both external and internal LOB, PD, Franchise, Creative, Retail, Assets and Technology.Drive alignment with both internal and external stakeholders via regular check-ins/milestones to help ensure joint priorities are met -- help drive meetings, capture takeaways, and work with all stakeholders to monitor progress/achievement.Budgeting & Forecasting:Proactively manage and drive transparency & efficiency for Global Lifestyle product development budgeting & forecasting.Asset Management:Develop and drive key global asset development pipeline from concept, development, legal approval and posting to asset management system.Partner with technology on development of asset management system 2.0.Analytics:Source, process and report on data to improve the operational infrastructure of our Lifestyle business, from product development to deal analysis.Drive business growth, measure success and learn from failures through established key performance indicators.
As the Senior Director, Operations, Lifestyle, at Universal Brand Development you will be an integral leader across operations within the Consumer Products team. The Universal Brand Development, Lifestyle team, is comprised of the following business units: Fashion & Home and Food Health & Beauty.
Your mission as Senior Director, Global Operations is to build operational excellence through partnerships and processes that both elevate business performance and ignite a culture of creativity, innovation and strategic planning.
This includes responsibility for project management of critical, cross functional initiatives within the Lifestyle Team.
You are a change leader who will work proactively to operationalize the company's strategy across Lifestyle 365 day product development, halo collaborations and new business development.
In this role, you will report to the Vice President, Global Operations and work as an advisor and partner to the SVP, Global Product Development and Global Leadership of the Lifestyle team.
The Senior Director, Global Operations role includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks/duties:
Planning & Project Management:
Halo & New Business:Operationalize the halo collaborations pipeline from submission to execution, across legal, contract and product development lifecycle.Working with category, product development and creative, identify action plan for new business opportunities.Event Planning:Optimize organizational effort to deliver Creative Roll-Outs and Film maker presentations.Team Management:Lead, grow and mentor a direct team to deliver business growth globally.The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in product development operations, business operations, with a track record of increasing responsibility in driving and executing transformational projects in the fashion, food health & beauty, consumer products, e-commerce industry.
