The Partners Brand Marketing team works with independent movie studios to release their films into the home entertainment market on both physical and digital platforms.
The Director, Partner Brand Marketing is responsible for developing the marketing strategy for our partners’ new release films. Utilizing deep knowledge of consumer insights and industry trends, the Director also leads the marketing campaign development and execution to maximize the profitability of each release, while ensuring high partner satisfaction. The Director also works closely with cross-functional marketing partners to plan and manage all efforts to achieve performance objectives.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Provide strategic direction and oversee the marketing campaigns in collaboration with cross-functional teams (including Publicity, Digital Marketing, Digital Distribution Marketing, Creative, Research and Retail Marketing and Sales) to develop plans that drive awareness, engagement, purchase intent and sales.Oversee the development of creative briefs used to develop all advertising assets and marketing collateral. Review and approve all materials.Oversee the development of home entertainment P&L’s, including volume, pricing and budget rationale. Determine release dates, windowing recommendations and SKU configurations by title. Present to senior management to garner alignment and approval.Manage partner relationships and ensure that partner needs are met.Maintain expertise and industry knowledge of the physical and digital retail landscape.Monitor competitive market activity and pricing.
Leadership and Team Management
Manage direct reports; responsible for performance management and development of direct reports within team. Provide leadership in the form of feedback, support and ongoing coaching to drive engagement.Foster a culture of collaboration and communication
Experience in brand marketing/consumer packaged goods/entertainment
Previous experience managing direct reports
Experience in developing creative marketing materials (packaging A/V, print, online)
Ability to interpret financial reports and manage P&Ls
Digital marketing expertise across paid, social and search mediums
Comprehensive understanding of consumer marketing, media, publicity and promotions
