The Manager-New Business Development is responsible for accelerating CMG healthcare revenue by providing strategic business development coaching, process implementation, and support to local markets, with the goal of showing markets “how” to maximize CHM resources in-order to drive healthcare ad revenue. 

Key ResponsibilitiesServe as CMG’s healthcare business development expert within CHM leadership.Working closely with Managing Director, help create and implement a “Healthcare Sales Program” for markets and sellers, incorporating a tiered system meant to incentivize local markets and sellers and allow prioritization of CHM resources.Develop a field sales playbook with plug & play templates and best practice business development guidelines for Healthcare Advocates and local sellers.Analyze CHM sales trends to help inform seller/local market strategy moving forward (both successes and attrition situations)Train and coach sellers on how to position CMG products and solutions to providers, specifically assisting with pitch and close strategies. Implement tactical roll-outs of new CHM sales strategy initiatives to all markets.Identify opportunities to use CHM tools and resources for new, as-yet untapped, local businesses.Assist markets with identifying and upselling local healthcare business with regional/national potential – coordinate between teams for best practices.Research and understand new available products and consumer activities and help to vet out for client/CHM effectiveness.Lead communication between CHM, local market digital teams and CMG-D.Be available for coaching through and presentations to executive-level/high-revenue clients in all markets.Work with CHM leadership to enhance strategic plan for sustained revenue growth and new business development across all CMG markets. Conduct field listening tours and incorporate input and performance into ongoing strategy discussions and goals. This candidate will be responsible for helping in the creation and support of CMG's next Center of Excellence.Qualifications:Experience & QualificationsB.A./B.S. required10 years+ sales/marketing experience and 5 years+ experience in healthcare industries. Strong leadership, organizational and analytic skillsPresentations at senior leadership level, both internally and externallyProven track record of achieving goals and delivering resultsStrong written and verbal communication aptitudesConsistently hits deadlines and demands high standardsSelf-directed & highly motivatedUnderstands value and role of profit and finds opportunities to increase outputTravel up to 40% of the time
