Elysian Media Group is is seeking a dynamic print advertising sales specialist who can help grow regional and national accounts for a travel and lifestyle magazine. We are looking for someone with PRIOR PRINT AD SALES EXPERIENCE who can prospect, generate leads, and close deals. A college degree in marketing or related field is preferred, and established relationships with current or prior print ad clients is a plus.
Candidate must have at least five years' experience in magazine ad sales and a proven success strategy. Must have compelling sales skills, be a strong closer and have a solid grasp of the print production process. Candidate must be prepared to schedule at least 10 in-person sales calls per week in the broad Southern California territory, building relationships, meeting sales goals, closing business on a consistent basis and generating revenue. The ability to manage RFPs, prepare proposals, presentations and media plans in collaboration with the publisher is required.
This freelance position offers a strong double-digit commission income (for both new and renewal business), bonuses and no cap.
