Associate Editor, Financial Institutions Practice

We are looking for exceptional editors to join our fast-growing global news operation. Associate Editors take on the central role in our editorial effort and govern our day-to-day publishing. They are responsible for the clarity and style of our writing, and they ensure our reporting is objective, accurate and insightful.

Brightwire covers finance, politics and business around the clock, with industry and regional teams in North America, Asia and Europe. We research, analyze and report on the latest events shaping the economy, politics and society. The role requires seamless teamwork, collaborating with reporters to develop and hone our reporting under tight deadlines.

Our Financial Institutions practice covers the companies in the Banking, Insurance and Asset Management markets by monitoring a diverse set of sources around-the-clock for important company or government disclosures. When information breaks, the team works together to collect facts and publish concise, accurate and insightful reports that keep our clients informed.

Our editors relish the drive for perfection in this demanding and dynamic environment, care about precision and clarity in writing, and understand the power of language to inform.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to deliver clear, compelling and accurate copy while maintaining our style
  • Impeccable news judgment, with a desire to learn and share knowledge
  • Excel within a fast-paced team striving for excellence and perfection
  • Exceptional academic or professional achievements

Our Culture

We work together in teams with diverse cultural backgrounds, and so we look for people who are open, conscientious, optimistic and friendly.
