As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for standing up Business Intelligence & Operational Excellence practices for Content Distribution Digital Products & Operations team. Through collaboration with all functional leaders, transform how we utilize data to make critical decisions that impact the organization. A successful applicant must possess attention to detail, strong analytical skills, advanced excel knowledge, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. They must have the ability to understand business operations, processes, and translate data into business insights that "tell a story"
The Senior Manager, Business Intelligence & Operational Excellence will be the expert visionary in the data and analytics space utilizing a mixture of internal expertise, technologies, operational processes & business understanding to deliver your objectives. This role will create and measure KPIs to drive success for the organization. They will quantify each step in the distribution supply chain to drive measurable results for the business and create dashboards for team members/leads to assess in real time. Leveraging data from various sources, this role will gather, connect & analyze to identify process improvement areas as well as product requirements to optimize & modernize the digital supply chain. This is a critical role to facilitate the accomplishment of departmental goals, objectives and budgetary requirements as they support the mission, vision, values and strategic plan of the organization.


  • Responsible for collecting, connecting & analyzing product & operational data through the distribution supply chain. E.g: publishing, delivery, availability, entitlement data
  • Responsible for translating the data into real time dashboards in order to measure organizational KPIs
  • Responsible for using data, dashboards to drive POV & build compelling presentations
  • Responsible for driving insights, ideas to optimize business processes & product solutions
  • Work collaboratively with Operations, Product, and Partner Strategy teams; helping to prioritize business information needs
  • Interpret data, analyze results and provide ongoing reports
  • Bring analytic skills to financial, quality and operational data to develop insights on where and how to focus organizational or departmental improvement efforts
  • Evaluate if/how improvement efforts are affecting performance indicators and outcomes
  • Use knowledge of industry practices to turn generalized opportunities into specific tactics and advise operational leaders and their teams on how to connect key metrics to the work performed
  • Be an integral part of a systematic approach using data to enhance the quality of performance through improvement of systems, processes, and outcomes

  • 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or Operations Management
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel knowledge.
  • A deep understanding of analytics, experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Domo, Looker, MicroStrategy, etc.
  • Ability to analyze, aggregate, and interpret data across multiple disciplines
  • Experience in establishing KPIs and targets including working with functional teams to achieve
  • Great presentation skills, and the ability to convey complex data results in a simple and concise way including the ability to tell the story via compelling decks using data, dashboards for executive teams
  • Familiarity using SQL, R, Python and other similar tools to elicit data from very large data sets a plus
  • Strong passion for asking the why’s and being a problem solver
  • Experience with operational and/or sales data analytics strongly preferred
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills. Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills.
