Role Summary:
The International Promotions Coordinator will support the International Promotions sales team including the Vice President, International Promotions and 2 Regional Directors. The appropriate candidate will have International experience in the Entertainment Industry working directly with the International Theatrical Offices and International Consumer Products Agents and in supporting multiple people across various time zones. The position will report to the VP, International Promotions and will have the following essential responsibilities.

Essential Responsibilities:

Film Specific Status Reports that are provided to both internal stakeholders as well as Filmmakers

Promo Valuations:
  • Input and update the International Promotions details for each promotional partner and ensure values match up with other departmental reports, decks, etc.

  • Pitch Lists:
  • Work with local theatrical offices and agents to receive and compile individual country pitch lists across the International marketplace
  • International Screenings:
  • Coordinate international screenings that are under Universal Obligation in partner contracts
  • Dub Requests:
  • Submit dub requests for footage, toolkits, sizzles, film content, etc. for international partners

  • International Decks:
  • Create, update and adjust sales decks and leave behinds to be more internationally focused
  • Create, manage and update International Promotions Case Studies
  • RSG (Contract System):
  • Input new deals for all International partnerships, update existing deals when necessary, work closely with domestic counterparts to ensure international elements of global programs are inputted correctly, create amendments for executed contracts, create dummy deals for all deals brought in by local offices for conflict checking purposes
  • Run conflict checks
  • Deal Process:
  • Participate in international sales status calls with theatrical offices and agents across multiple areas of the world.
  • Work in conjunction with Director in preparing deals for Senior Management and Filmmaker approval, which includes document preparation, Consumer Products clearance, etc.
  • Schedule and participate in sales/execution creative transition calls
  • Conduct Research (whenever needed) - examples include but are not limited to:
  • Brand Briefs
  • Marketing commitments/elements specific to previous film campaigns
  • Film specific themes and concepts
  • Competitive Calendar:
  • Maintain and update competitive calendar showing release dates by key territory for all upcoming animated films within the next couple of years
  • Competitive Reports:
  • Create international competitive reports for animated titles as well as maintain and update competitive report for regional programs
  • Box Office Comparisons:
  • Maintain and update documents comparing the international box office results for each animated film within a franchise by territory, total key market box office, and total global box office.

    •2 years of experience

    Desired Characteristics
    •Studio experience strongly preferred

    •Proficiency in additional languages a plus
