Join MITRE’s Content Marketing team as a Digital Content Coordinator, where you’ll help us update internal and external websites, create newsletter templates, draft social media and website content, create reports, manage projects, and respond to internal customer requests. If you are a generalist versed in digital communication who is willing to apply the skills you have and learn new skills on the job, you are the ideal candidate.

Skills and Experience:

  • Hands-on work with content management systems (CMS)
  • Writing/editing HTML and CSS
  • Ability to create and edit graphics/documents using Adobe Creative Suite (specifically, Photoshop and Acrobat Pro)
  • Use of Google Analytics to report on website traffic
  • Use of social media platforms and management tools to draft, post, and report on content
  • Creation of templates and emails in an email marketing/newsletter tool and an understanding of email marketing best practices
  • Use of customer relationship management (CRM) systems as part of digital outreach efforts
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards

Qualities:

  • Willingness/ability to learn new subject matter and technologies quickly
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills
  • Patience and a positive, customer-friendly attitude
  • Ability to adapt and shift gears quickly and easily
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team as well as independently

Degree/Experience Level:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or related field preferred
  • 2-4 years relevant experience
